Located at: 21 Hammond Road, Centereach, NY 11720
Our Centereach Storage Facility
Located right alongside Middle Country Road, A Space Place Storage's Centereach location is mere minutes from the Long Island Expressway. If you are a daily commuter, this means that regular access to your storage unit won't take any significant amount of time out of a busy schedule. Between your work and your family, finding time to fit any other errands or activities into a week can prove to be challenging, if not impossible. Thankfully, A Space Place Storage's 24/7 automated entry system has been designed with you in mind, allowing you to visit your storage unit at the times that are most convenient for you. Whether you're looking to visit on the way to work, after a late-night shift, or over the weekend, your unit is ready to be accessed.
The convenient location only adds to the Centereach location itself, which features both drive-up and climate-controlled units. The large grounds with wide driving lanes mean that you can drive directly up to your unit for pick-ups and drop-offs. These units are ideal for those looking to store heavy equipment, large furniture, and even vehicles. With a Walmart less than half a mile away in Centereach Mall and a Costco located right down Middle Country Road in Nesconset, your unit can even be used to save some money by buying household items in bulk. The climate-controlled units, on the other hand, are essential for more sensitive items, such as electronics, photographs, and documents.
A close proximity to the Long Island Expressway will prove to be helpful for contractors and those looking to use their units during a move. Since the Long Island Expressway allows for commercial vehicles, you can drive directly to the store without having to take a convoluted path. A shorter trip to your unit means that not only can you utilize it on a daily basis, but it also means less stress in your life. Contractors will also be happy to know that two local Home Depots, located in Independence Plaza in Selden and on Pond Path in South Setauket, make us a perfect place to store your required lumber, tools, and building equipment. Since we always adhered to our 24/7 operating hours, contractors will find that our accommodations will make a significant positive impact on daily efficiency.
Students studying at Stony Brook University will find that A Space Place Storage is an ideal solution for storing items during breaks from school. A summer break can prove to be a challenge for those that live far from campus, but with a storage unit, you can skip the moving hassles and simply store your items for quick and easy access before the next semester. Plus, with a prime location right down the road from Long Island MacArthur Airport you can easily visit your unit on your way to and from school. As always, no long-term contracts means that you can have your unit for just the months that you need it.
Local college students attending Suffolk Community College's Ammerman Campus in Selden can also utilize a storage unit to help downsize into a small apartment near campus. Instead of having to get rid of prime possessions, students can simply rent a studio apartment or share a small space with roommates and rest easy knowing their items are safe in their storage units.
A Space Place Storage regularly assists local public and private schools with their daily needs, including providing safe storage for assembly/event equipment, extra desks and equipment, and summer school needs. In Centereach, we support Centereach High School and Dawnwood Middle School on 43rd Street, North Coleman Road Elementary School on North Coleman Road. In nearby Selden, Selden Middle School on Jefferson Avenue, Newfield High School on Marshall Drive.
Some other local area schools we plan to work with shortly include Hawkins Path Elementary School on Hawkins Road, Stagecoach Elementary School on Dare Road, and New Lane Memorial Elementary School on New Lane Road all receive our full support. Additionally, we stand behind St. James' prestigious Knox School on Long Beach Road.
For nature enthusiasts, the Centereach store is only a short drive away from Connetquot River State Park and Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge on Sunrise Highway, and Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve, among others. Since apartments and small homes can make storing biking and various hiking equipment challenging, a hassle-free drive-up storage unit can help you stay focused on enjoying the great outdoors.
Planning a wedding? A Space Place Storage can provide as much space as you need for tables, chairs, and anything else that would overflow out of your garage and home. Plus, with nearby wedding venues like Windows on the Lake on Lake Shore Road in Ronkonkoma, Beach Club Estate on Rose Drive in Lake Ronkonkoma, and Flowerfield on Mills Pond Road in St. James, you can utilize our storage capabilities up until the final hours.
A home full of family heirlooms and memorabilia can be truly comforting, so when it comes to transitioning into a small retirement community or an assisted living facility, finding a place to store a life's worth of items can be difficult. With A Space Place Storage's Centereach facility located near Atria South Setauket on Nesconset Highway, Jefferson's Ferry on Jefferson Ferry Drive in Centereach Atria Hertlin Place on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, and The Bristal on Expressway Drive North in Holtsville, there are numerous renowned communities that can rely on our services.
Being involved with local religious institutions is something that A Space Place Storage takes great pride in. Centereach Bible Church on North Coleman Road, Our Savior Lutheran Church on Mark Tree Road, and Assumption Church on Crown Acres Road all receive the full backing by our store for fundraising events and storage needs. Additionally, we support numerous churches in Selden, including St. Margaret of Scotland Church and Praise Christian Tabernacle on College Road, St. Michael's Charismatic Catholic on Inwood Avenue, St. Cuthbert's Episcopal Church on Magnolia Place, Hope Lutheran Church on Dare Road, and Middle Island Baptist Church on Fountain Avenue.
Our Centereach facility is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, including Sushi Palace, Buffalo Wild Wings, Plaza Margarita Restaurant, and Hau PO Chinese Restaurant, all of which are within minutes on Middle Country Road alone. Restaurant owners find that our extended hours and month-by-month rentals simply cannot be matched by other storage companies, making A Space Place Storage a favorite for local businesses.
The smallest units we have are 5' x 5', which are more spacious and useful than you may imagine. Since we are only 3 miles from Smith Haven Mall, and have worked with Bed Bath and beyond, and Bath and Bodyworks last Christmas to handle excess inventory. A Space Place Storage is a perfect hiding spot for those birthday and holiday presents that you want to remain a surprise. Plus, during the months that you don't have presents to hide, your unit can be used for storing those holiday decorations that take up useful space in your home's basement, attic, and closets.
Ensuring that we do everything we can to support our local community is a cornerstone of how we operate. Each year, we are a proud supporter of Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure event, which honors survivors and helps to raise awareness for breast cancer. We take pride in helping local communities because we don't simply operate a business on Long Island – we call the Island home. We're proud to be surrounded by iconic landmarks like the Pennysaver Amphitheater, Stony Brook University Medical Center, and plenty of fantastic towns.
