Okay, so to start with, everyone knows that it’s always good to be environmentally friendly. We should take care of the earth we live in and do our best to do stuff that wouldn’t hurt it. There are many ways that we can do that, the most popular one being recycling, reusing, and reducing. We should try to save paper and not waste it if it isn’t necessary.

So a space place storage has started to do some green improvement here at our facilities to protect the environment we live in. We have started reducing the amount of paper we use and the paper we do use and don’t need anymore, we have been recycling them. Many times the tenants that move out, leave boxes behind, so we have started to save those and also let new tenants use them when they move in so that those cardboard boxes aren’t wasted and are reused. At our facilities, we have added recycling bins along with all the garbage cans so that the tenants, when they are throwing out garbage, can easily separate their garbage to recycle the stuff they can recycle and not just garbage out with the rest of their stuff. This takes the lazy part out of recycling since they don’t have to go to a special place to recycle their stuff and can do it right there.

So far we have been enforcing these new policies throughout our facilities but will keep on adding new and more efficient green policies to help keep our business eco-friendly and protect our environment. We would love to hear from you guys to see what other kind of eco-friendly policies we can add. All good ideas will be greatly appreciated.
