For about 10 years now, everyone knew Google as the main search engine to be referring to when it came to looking for what you need. Over the past couple years, Google started to change gears a little and develop and release free products like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Places, etc. We use them in daily life and sometimes don’t even realize how reliant we are on Google products. With these great products, there must be some bad ones right?
Google will be putting the ax to some of their products that flopped such as:
-Aardvark
-Google Desktop
-Fast Flip
-Google Maps API for Flash
-Google Pack
-Google Web Security
-Image Labeler
-Notebook
-Sidewiki
-Subscribed Links
Google, like many other business with investors, need to please the stockholders, and although they come up with hundreds of ideas each some, some of them just aren’t worth the continued research and need to be cut. They say they have done this before and don’t doubt they will have to do it again in the future, but for now these are the cuts they see necessary.
